Gingerbread Train
This is what Beau and I did this afternoon!
Beau helped build the train, I would ice it, and then he would decorate with candy (not all the candy made it on the train!! MmmMmm)
We had a good time and a fun weekend together, but we are ready for Daddy to be home from his Mission trip!

Pictures and Playdates!
I took some pictures of Beau for Christmas cards. I am, by no means, a photographer, but I love taking pictures of my boys!
He even let me "fix" his hair for these!
Today, Beau went to the Gymnastics Sport Center and met his friend, Carter.
These two have been friends "since we were little" as Beau recalls!
They had a blast, as you can tell by their little red faces!
I got some of my last Christmas shopping done and I hope Mandi did as well!
God has really blessed us with good friends for Beau. He has several from church and we just love them all (and their families!)

Thanksgiving @ the Lake
Each year, my mom's side of the family spends one of the holidays together at Possum Kingdom Lake. This year it was Thanksgiving, and it was the most fun I can remember! Beau was old enough that he knew what was going on and I didn't have to keep my eye on him 24 hours a day (although having 10 older responsible cousins/babysitters helped, too!)
This is the annual barge ride and hike up to Hell's Gate.
Each year we have a worship service led by the kids. They completely come up with the program and Ava Grace and Beau got to be Mary and Joseph. It was TOO cute!
There are 27 of us all together. These are mine and my sisters' kiddos.
Emily Kunkel, Bailey Johnston and Cal Johnston, Beau, Audrey Johnston, Abby and Claire Kunkel, and Ava Grace Johnston.
This is my sweet, sweet family. It is not the best picture as you cannot see everyone's faces clearly, but it's my parents, my sisters & their husbands and kids.
We have LOTS to be thankful for!
