On the Lake...

We were honored to be invited out to the lake by my dear friend, Angela, today. Her parents have a beautiful cabin out there and we had the BEST, most relaxing time. Angela's son, Zachry, and Beau have become good friends and so it was fun to watch the boys play. Beau is pretty fearless anyway, but he especially wants to do everything 8 year old Zachry does.

We got to go swimming...

And then Beau got to do THIS:


Zachry went first and Beau and Kevin were going to go next when Beau announced he would do it by himself (because that's how Zachry did it). It doesn't take much for my overprotection to kick into gear, but I was outvoted and Beau got to go solo.
He LOVED it! And thank you, Mr. Fred, for going slow! He held on and smiled the whole time! Thank you, Aycocks and Valentines, for such a wonderful day! We all had a blast...and Beau should sleep SOUNDLY tonight!
