Our Six Flags Trip

We had the best time this weekend at Six Flags! We woke up early Thursday morning and headed to Arlington. We parked at our Hotel which ended up being a perfect hotel for us. It was the La Quinta right across the street from the Park...free parking, free breakfast, fantastic pool area, free shuttle to the Park, new clean rooms, and super friendly workers. We took the shuttle the first time and walked the other times.
We got there right when the Park opened and wasted no time getting on the rides. It was cloudy so it wasn't too hot. It even sprinkled a little bit throughout the day...not enough to stop any rides, but just enough to keep the crowds away!
After a long morning of exploring the Park and eating lunch, we rode some more rides before heading back to the hotel that afternoon for a break (another good reason for a close hotel)! We rested for a while, ordered a pizza, made a list of all the rides and attractions we still wanted to do and headed back to the Park for the rest of the evening.
Beau was so good! He stayed right with us all the time, never complained about anything (even the one ride he didn't like...the Yosemite Sam ride - used to be Spelunkers Cave)! We got to ride everything we wanted to, sometimes twice, and I found out my 4 year son is a Roller Coaster Kid. The higher and faster it went, the more he liked it!
I've posted a bunch of pictures of our trip, so enjoy! I'm sure Beau will tell you ALL about it sometime!
